About
Created by music lovers, for music lovers, Louche started out as a small party amongst friends in 2007 and has since matured into one of the most influential parties in the UK.
Their events in Leeds and London offer the UK an insight into a diverse range of on-point electronic music, with previous guests including Zip, Omar S, Prosumer, Dyed Soundorum, Nicolas Jaar and Fred P amongst others. Notable UK debuts have been given to Visionquest and a young Seth Troxler, Louche always with their finger firmly on the pulse of new sounds. Their Leeds base The Mint Club was voted best small venue in the U.K. by DJ mag in 2010, and their various interesting London venues never disappoint their faithful, colourful crowd, who always ignite a unique atmosphere at every event.
It is not only Leeds and London that have taken notice, Louche parties and showcases now feature much further a field. The guys host tents and arenas at various festivals & venues across Europe, including The Secret Garden Party (uk), Space (Ibiza), Garden Festival (Croatia), Gottwood Festival (UK), The Warehouse Project (UK) and many more.... Their eclectic podcast series reached a milestone of 50 episodes this year and has featured acts such as Delano Smith, Lee Foss, Jimmy Edgar & Maya Jane Coles amongst other talented characters. Louche's crisp visual identity and branding now includes a sharp new website, and plans are already afoot to launch a record label in 2012.
From the die-hard regulars to first timers, from the guest DJs to the booking agents, you won't find many people who don't admire Louche's influence, and much is down to founders Brinsley and Josh's commitment, charm and sense of fun. They now find themselves as one of the most talked about clubnights in Europe. Musical diversity with Love x
