The UK and the rest of Europe may be home to many music festivals, but there may be a new location for EDM across the pond. Still relatively new to the electronic music scene yet booming with amazing potential, Las Vegas has joined the ranks of New York City and other locales in becoming the place to go for those crazy dance extravaganzas headlined by all the world class DJs.
Looking back 10 years ago, Vegas wasn’t exactly a hub for annual music festivals. But as more gambling websites sprouted up, it began worrying casino operators, forcing them to reconfigure their business models and shying aware from being purely gaming facilities. One of the most popular marketing strategies was to invest millions into music festivals and live entertainment to widen their scope of entertainment and compete with portals offering numerous opportunities and attractive bonuses to new players. Unsurprisingly, this resulted in more DJ appearances and larger scale sonic parties, and
the EDM scene has gone from strength to strength, benefiting many casinos along the way.
